Whole Pigs
Whole Pigs
Unfortunately, due to our retail demands and limited time & space, we no longer offer whole & half pigs. However, our farmers do have pigs available you can purchase directly from them. They will not be processed by us and we do not get any percentage of the sale. Reach out directly to them if you are interested or have any questions. We recommend them all. Contact them directly to check prices, availability and options.
Little Mnt. Ranch
Recommended for having processed and stocking up the freezer or for getting a carcass to process yourself especially if your looking to make dry-aged charcuterie. All pigs are skinless. Halves and wholes available. Not recommended for whole hog bbq due to being skinless and having a higher a quantity of fat that melts at a lower temp (awesome for chops, sausage and everything else, but just not great for whole hog bbq).

Bill’s farm is only 5 miles up the road from the shop in Washington Co., NE. We use his pigs for our best charcuterie due to the exceptional fat qualities. His pigs are raised outdoors in the forest and are able to graze on undergrowth and even acorns for the late fall and early winter. He raises mostly Idaho Pasture Pigs that he is breeding at the farm, but also has a few other breeds and crosses. He takes pigs in for processing every month, but you may be on a waiting list for 2-3 months.
Jon’s Naturals
Recommended for whole hog bbq or smoking since all pigs can come skin-on or skinless. Also good for getting a carcass to process yourself. Not good for stocking freezer since it is not possible to have these pigs processed. Only whole and half carcasses available. All sizes from suckling to full size are possible, but the Duroc pork is full-sized animals only. Reach out to them to get all the options.

Jon is a great guy we have been working with since we started. He has a small butcher shop and meat distribution business 30 minutes from Omaha in McClelland, IA. He carries Duroc pork raised by Truebridge Farms. Truebridge has strick quality and treatment standards for the various regional family farms that raise pigs for them. He can also get smaller commodity pigs raised in Iowa for smoking and hog roasting. Plan at least 2-3 weeks ahead. You can cannot call up and just get a pig in a few days.
